Congressman Crenshaw and Mayor Brown meet with prospective Military Personnel

Each year River City Science Academy is proud to attend the JAX Chamber’s Military Appreciation Luncheon honoring the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, and the many veterans of past wars living in Jacksonville. The Military Appreciation Luncheon has become Jacksonville's most recognized venue for honoring its local military for their outstanding commitment to the country.

This year in addition to our active/former military Staff/Faculty and spouses, we were accompanied by a group of our students hoping to pursue a military career after high school.  Congressman Ander Crenshaw and Mayor Alvin Brown graciously met with them, and our students were very thankful for the opportunity to interact with these fine  elected officials .
