First Coast Science Olympiad Competiton

Bridge building, plentiful plants, mystery packaging, oh my!  Last weekend was a big one for RCSA Elementary's Science Olympiad Team. These remarkable students showed their STEM skills and placed 3rd overall, with the below students placing in individual events as well.

Jason Fearon & Daniel Schott:  1st Place - Water Rockets

Rahma Mohamed & Emily Marlow:  2nd Place - Food Science

Elif Tozoglu & Rahma Mohamed:  3rd Place - Egg Drop

Andy Lin & Jake Farmer:  3rd Place - Starry, Starry Night 

Elif Tozoglu & Emily Marlow:  3rd Place – Mystery Packaging

We are very proud of this team and their dedicated coaches - Mrs. Reeves, Mrs. Derya, Mrs. Schumacher, Mrs. Larson, Mrs. Blackmar, and Miss Plouffe.  Their next competition will be in Orlando on April 15th.  Go Rocket Scientists!
